Medium Opacity ingots:- they come in 5 group shades and are ideal for vital, slightly discoloured preparations.

Low Translucency ingots:-  Theses come in 16 A-D group shades and 4 bleach shades and are best suited for larger crowns, for example, posterior crowns. They  impress patients with their high brightness value and chroma.

High Translucency ingots:-  With their high translucency these ingots are best suited for smaller restorations  such as inlays and onlays.  They can be individualised using the staining technique.
